The rebel alliance - revolt!

I firmly believe that for children to become successful adults in a demanding world, they have to learn to break the rules.

Jansen called it wrong on the UFS fiasco, but I agree with most of what he says in the above column. I have no time for automatons.


  1. Read the comments under that piece - seems like most of our compatriots are all in favour of automatons. Why am I not surprised?

  2. Yes I noticed that too. Sigh. It's rebels who question the norms of the world that spark change. This is true even in a corrupt country, with an untouchable government, a 2/3rds majority and a huge crime problem. The solutions to South Africa's problems will not come from those who obey and follow the ruling party like acolytes, but from those willing to jump ship and change the status quo.
